The handheld system is a total failure. Air leaks back into the bags after 1-2 days. I spent $45 on this crap and it is nothing but a big failure. Do not purchase this product what so ever.

The funny thing is that I went earlier this week and purchased the Ziploc handpump system for less than $3.00 and it works perfectly fine. I used one of the three sample bags that came with the pump, put in a product and vacuum'd the bag and this is the second day and the bag is still sealed.

So far the Ziploc for $3.00 has outperformed Foodsaver Handheld device that cost $19.95.
