I got almost 4 years out of it til it just finally wore out. I bought the V2220 model to replace it. I got less then a year out of it!!! I washed the gaskets as advised but the sealer just would not seal. I love the canisters as they keep foods dry and bug resistant. As far as using it to seal wild game it was great the first 1/2 of the year. I feel as if we wasted our money on this model so now we are going back to the old ways of keeping our meats frozen.
